On September 9th, Michael Smallberg and David Zaring will share their unique perspectives on the revolving door between government and the private sector.
Mr. Smallberg is an investigator at the Project on Government Oversight (POGO), a nonpartisan, independent watchdog that champions good government reforms. His investigations center on oversight of the financial services industry. He has contributed to POGO's reports, testimony, letters, public comments, and blog posts on issues such as the revolving door, contractor conflicts of interest, and excessive secrecy at financial regulatory agencies.
Mr. Zaring is an Assistant Professor of Law at the Wharton School. He has written over 30 articles, including publications in the Cornell, Michigan, NYU, UCLA, and Virginia law reviews, and a number of international law journals. Prior to teaching at Wharton, he taught at the Bucerius, University of Pennsylvania, Washington & Lee, and Vanderbilt law schools.
