OGE Director Participates in Roundtable and Workshop at the London School of Economics

May 28, 2015

As part of OGE's continuing work to promote effective leadership in ethics and advance strong ethics programs, Director Walter M. Shaub, Jr., travels to the London School of Economics (LSE) this week to participate in a roundtable and workshop titled "Regulation of Standards in Public Life." The events, which include open discussions with the public and participation from a variety of esteemed professionals in ethics-related fields, allow for critical knowledge sharing on ethical standards of conduct, best-practices in investigations, and potential pitfalls to avoid.

In collaboration with the Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation and the Economic and Social Research Council at the LSE, Director Shaub and his colleagues are drilling into revolving door issues, impacts of financial disclosure, and the interplay of regulatory programs and job performance.

More information on the LSE events can be found here. Learn more about OGE's mission.
