In this 90 minute teleconference, participants will be introduced to the seeking employment provisions in Subpart F of the Standards of Conduct (5 CFR section 2635.601-606), the negotiating provisions of 18 USC section 208 and the negotiation notification and recusal requirements under Section 17 of the STOCK Act. We will discuss common assumptions and misconceptions about these provisions by examining a series of statements, some of which may be true and many of which are pure fiction.

This session is designed as an orientation to the statute and regulations pertaining to seeking and negotiating for employment.
