How-To: Gifts from Outside Sources

In this How-To Session, Institute for Ethics in Government (IEG) Instructor, Patrick Shepherd, demonstrates how to use the gifts analysis process to work through sample ethics questions involving gifts from outside sources. Watch to become more familiar with the general gift prohibitions and to gain experience using key definitions from the gift rules and applying commonly used exceptions.
