To search by Individual's Last Name: Enter the last name in the Individual’s Last Name field and click the “Find Individual By Name” button.
To search by Agency: Select an agency from the Agency dropdown list. Once you have selected the Agency, click the “Find Individual By Agency” button.
In the new pop-up window, (1) select an individual from the list by clicking the radio button to the left of the name. Then, (2) click the box next to the document(s) you want to request, up to a maximum of 5. Although email capacity limits the number of documents that you may request at one time to 5, there is no limit on the number of requests you may make.
Note: You can immediately download financial disclosures for the 67 most senior officials, as well as all ethics agreements and certifications of ethics agreement compliance. Alternatively, you can immediately download these documents from the Officials’ Individual Disclosure Collection.
Once you have selected the Documents, click the “Add to Cart” button.
The pop-up window will close and you will return to the main page to enter your information.
You will see the individual's name and the list of the documents you have added to the cart.
Complete the required fields under the Your Information section. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*). When you have entered all of the required information, read the warning, check the box to the left of the statement "I am aware of the above statutes and regulations” and then click the “Submit Request” button.
You should receive requested documents via email within 2 business days.
OGE is responsible for making available disclosures and related ethics documents for about 1,000 of the approximately 26,000 public filers in the executive branch. Also available from OGE are all certificates of divestitures issued to individuals in the executive branch.
If you are looking for the ethics documents of an individual who is NOT (1) Presidentially appointed and Senate-confirmed, (2) a Presidential or Vice Presidential candidate, (3) a senior official at the White House, or (4) a Designated Agency Ethics Official; you must submit a request to the agency that employs the individual.

WARNING: This request for access to a public financial disclosure report is an official Government form (OGE Form 201). In completing this OGE Form 201, any intentionally false or misleading statement, certification, or response provided in this form is a violation of law punishable by a fine or imprisonment, or both, under 18 U.S.C. § 1001. Pursuant to section 105(c) of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 and 5 C.F.R. § 2634.603(f) of the implementing OGE regulation, it is unlawful for any person to obtain or use a report:
The U.S. Attorney General may bring a civil action against any person who obtains or uses a report for any such prohibited purpose as set forth above. The court may assess against such a person a penalty in any amount not to exceed $20,489. Such remedy shall be in addition to any other remedy available under statutory or common law.
In addition to requests for access to public OGE Form 278/SF 278 reports, this form can also be used to request access to certain other agency records which are covered under the access procedures of section 105 of the Ethics Act and the implementing OGE ("covered records").
Sections 105 and 402(b)(1) of the Ethics in Government Act, as amended (5 U.S.C. app. 101) and 5 C.F.R. § 2634.603 authorize the solicitation of the information requested in this form. The primary use of the information on this form is to permit officials of the recipient agency to consider and process requests for inspection or receipt of copies of the OGE Form 278e Executive Branch Personnel Public Financial Disclosure Report and the OGE Form 278-T Periodic Transaction Report, or other covered records to which you seek access. Furnishing the requested information is voluntary. However, failure to furnish this information will result in the recipient agency’s inability to allow access to, or to provide a copy/copies of, the financial disclosure report(s) or other record(s) requested. Information on the form itself may be publicly disclosed pursuant to a proper request under section 105(b) of the Ethics in Government Act or as otherwise authorized by law.
