April Quarterly DAEO Meeting

On Wednesday, April 30, OGE Director Walter M. Shaub, Jr. held a quarterly meeting with Designated Agency Ethics Officials (DAEO) from across the executive branch at the U.S. Department of Education. Quarterly meetings provide an opportunity for OGE to share information on emerging issues and to announce new ethics program initiatives. During Wednesday's meeting, the Director and members of his management team discussed a variety of topics including theNational Government Ethics Summit to be held throughout the month of September, the ongoing development of OGE's electronic financial disclosure system, and plans for annual public filing season, which begins in earnest on May 15.

The next quarterly DAEO meeting will be held in July.
