2024 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey Results

October 31, 2024

The U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE) has published its 2024 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey Results. OGE uses the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) to build a better workplace to more effectively achieve its mission. The results show OGE has one of the most engaged workforces across the Government.  Nearly all survey items (86 out of 90) were identified as a strength (65% positive or more) and of those 34 items were 90% positive or more. No survey items (0 out of 90) were identified as a challenge (35% negative or more).

The results also show that:

  • OGE continues to have one of the most engaged employees with a score of 90% on the Employment Engagement Index, reflects questions in these three areas: (1) leaders lead, (2) supervisors, and (3) intrinsic work experience.
  • OGE scored 82% on the Employee Experience Index, which reflects questions in three areas: (1) job attachment, (2) organizational attachment, and (3) public service motivation.
  • OGE scored 97% on the Performance Index, reflects questions in four areas: (1) meets customer needs, (2) contributes to agency performance, (3) produces high quality work, and (4) adapts to changing priorities.
