Outside activity requests present some of the most complex advice and counseling issues ethics officials face. In this two-part course, Institute for Ethics in Government instructors lead participants in a practice exercise. Part 1 introduces the exercise and a set of tools for completing it. Part 2 reviews the exercise and helps participants assess their work.
