In this 20 minute distance learning event the U.S. Office of Government Ethics will provide supervisors and others who review confidential financial disclosure reports (OGE forms 450) with guidance on identifying and preventing potential conflicts of interest.
We will answer several common questions such as:
What is the purpose of financial disclosure?
Why are supervisors asked to participate in the review?
What are conflicts of interest and why do they matter?
What should a reviewer do if (s)he finds a potential conflict?
When should reviewers certify reports as conflict-free?
This session will be presented live on February 14th at noon Eastern. A recording will be available on this page immediately upon the completion of the session.
